Job summary

Busey seeks a Business Systems Manager to lead critical systems and technology initiatives that boost operational efficiency, client experience, risk management, and scalable growth. You will align system capabilities with strategic priorities and drive adoption across the organization.

You will partner with vendors, business lines, and enterprise stakeholders, lead a team responsible for reliable delivery, and ensure measurable value while maintaining security and compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of key business systems, including enhancements, releases, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
• Support day-to-day business processing needs for internal partners and external clients while advancing strategic initiatives.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Maintain dashboards and metrics to monitor uptime, defect trends, backlog, and service quality.
• Approve procedures for system management activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan budget considerations and monitor expenditures for enterprise systems.
• Analyze and implement process improvements across teams and enterprise.
• Coordinate implementation, training, adoption, and ongoing support for enterprise systems.
• Evaluate emerging business needs and design scalable solutions for growth and resiliency.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, internal controls, and data security standards.
