Busey Bank is seeking a Business Systems Manager to lead critical systems supporting efficiency, client experience, risk management, and scalable growth. You will partner with vendors, lines of business, and stakeholders to deliver value and ensure adoption of technology solutions across the organization.

The role emphasizes evaluating needs, developing requirements, supporting implementations, and guiding a team to reliable delivery while maintaining compliance and data security standards.

Qualifications

• Executive communication, leadership, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, technology operations, and system governance.
• Strategic, curious, and a creative thinker.
• 4+ years of experience managing and leading technology teams.
• Experience with core banking solutions such as Jack Henry or FIS.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of key business systems, including enhancements, releases, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes with root cause analysis.
• Maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting on uptime, defects, backlog, and quality.
• Coordinate integrations across internal/external platforms and APIs.
• Plan and oversee testing to ensure quality and standards.
• Build partnerships with leaders to drive adoption and value.
