Job summary

AlertMedia seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise, to partner with our Enterprise Sales team and lead technical discovery, tailored product demonstrations, and integration validations across enterprise customers.

You will bridge Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate business needs into technical solutions, guiding customers through evaluations and ensuring a technical win.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales Engineering experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers.
• Experience partnering with Enterprise Account Executives on complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Strong consultative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical evaluations.
• Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, methods, JSON, webhooks, authentication protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth), cloud applications, enterprise integrations, and modern SaaS architecture.
• Experience responding to RFPs, security reviews, and technical due diligence for enterprise customers.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate technical research, create customer-facing deliverables, or streamline presales workflows while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to developers, architects, administrators, business users, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to deliver compelling value-based demonstrations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Highly collaborative with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to drive technical strategy and secure technical wins.
• Lead consultative technical discovery sessions to understand objectives, environments, and integration needs.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations that align with customer goals.
• Design and guide evaluations, PoCs, and pilots validating AlertMedia's value.
• Become a subject matter expert across the AlertMedia platform.
• Discuss APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, and integration patterns with stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and develop solutions to remove adoption obstacles.
• Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and security documentation.
• Communicate complex concepts to executives and technical teams clearly.
• Document best practices and improve presales processes for customer experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing on feedback.
• Stay current on industry trends and platform capabilities.
