NetApp is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with customers while partnering with Client Executives to drive business outcomes across existing and new opportunities.

The role requires deep technical expertise in storage, hybrid cloud, and data protection, with the ability to manage multiple deals and collaborate across teams to deliver outcomes. The position embraces a hybrid/remote model based in the Seattle metro.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or systems engineering in a quota-driven environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers in complex sales cycles.
• Strong background in storage and storage-adjacent technologies essential.
• Knowledge of SAN, NAS, block, and file in on-prem architectures.
• Experience designing and configuring customer solutions.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, virtualization, and data protection strategies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deals across stages and customer types.
• Experience working with channel partners and joint execution.
• Excellent discovery, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker who can execute tactically for growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead across enterprise accounts in your territory.
• Partner with Enterprise Client Executives to build strategy and pipeline.
• Collaborate with channel partners and partner SEs; co-sell and win together.
• Lead deep discovery sessions to uncover business challenges and future-state goals.
• Architect and configure solutions across the NetApp portfolio tailored to customer environments.
• Manage multiple deals from net-new logos to long-cycle enterprise deals.
• Drive protect-and-expand motions within existing accounts.
• Engage customers on AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Engineering, and Professional Services.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative ideas.
