NetApp, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with customers and partner closely with Client Executives to drive business outcomes across existing and new opportunities.

You will design, architect, and configure solutions across complex enterprise environments, manage multiple deals, and bring innovative data-management capabilities to engagements. This role emphasizes collaboration, high energy, and results in a hybrid/remote work setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering
• Experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers in complex sales cycles
• Strong background in infrastructure storage and related solutions
• Knowledge of on-prem environments (SAN/NAS/Block/File) and integration into broader architectures
• Experience designing and configuring solutions within customer environments
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, virtualization, and data protection strategies
• Ability to manage multiple deals across stages and customer types
• Experience working with channel partners and joint execution
• Strong discovery, communication, and presentation skills; translates tech into business value
• Strategic thinking with a balance of execution and long-term growth
• Must be based in the metro area to support territory

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor across enterprise accounts in your territory
• Partner with Enterprise Client Executives to build strategy, develop pipeline, and close business
• Build and maintain relationships with channel partners and partner SEs; co-sell and win together
• Lead deep discovery sessions to uncover real business challenges and goals
• Architect and configure NetApp solutions (ONTAP, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud) for customer environments
• Support multiple opportunities simultaneously across net-new and long-cycle enterprise deals
• Drive protection-and-expansion motions within existing accounts and capture whitespace
• Engage customers in AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and DR discussions
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Engineering, and Professional Services for outcomes
• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative ideas to customer conversations
• Ensure alignment with channel partners and joint execution plans
