Job summary

Aerospike is seeking a technically sharp, enterprise-focused Solutions Architect to drive adoption and shape the technical vision of our real-time data platform across North America. In this pre-sales role, you will partner with account teams and executives to design architectures, translate complex requirements into scalable blueprints, and demonstrate clear business value.

You will serve as the principal technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, from discovery and design to POC

Qualifications

Executive presence and ability to engage with C-level stakeholders.
Deep expertise in NoSQL, relational databases, distributed systems, MPP data warehouses, and specialized platforms.
Hands-on Linux experience, high-concurrency and high-throughput systems.
Experience with Spark, Hadoop, HBase, HDFS, Hive, Impala, and related data-processing ecosystems.
Ability to guide architecture reviews, POCs, bake-offs, and time-sensitive decisions.

Responsibilities

Engineer for advantage by leading multi-region architectures.
Master the data plane with expertise in databases and data platforms.
Sell architecture by connecting technical choices to business value and ROI.
Create conviction through rigorous POCs, benchmarks, and architecture reviews.
