Job summary

Kai is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer located in New York City to cover the Northeast region. This is a fully remote, field-based role with 50%+ travel.

You will own the technical sales motion from first call through POV close, partnering with the regional Account Executive to bring Kai's platform to Global 2000 and Fortune 500 enterprises. You are the technical authority in every customer room, translating security expertise into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise security SE, pre-sales, or solutions engineering.
• Experience selling to Global 2000 or Fortune 500 accounts.
• Strong ability to map security platforms to business outcomes.
• Travel 50%+ across the Northeast.

Responsibilities

• Own full pre-sales motion from first call through close with Northeast accounts.
• Design and run POVs aligned to customer business outcomes.
• Lead technical discovery of customer environment and threat model before demos.
• Deliver presentations to security architects, SOC, and CISO audiences.
• Build trusted relationships with security teams at large enterprises.
• Represent Kai at industry events and customer briefings.
