Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Fleet Manager in Columbus, OH to lead enterprise support on the customer floor, overseeing Fleet Techs who run robotic cells, troubleshoot hardware and software, and staff 4-arm and tank-style cells as needed.

Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, certifying Fleet Techs, defining the skills ladder, and partnering with CSMs and maintenance teams. You will track uptime and response metrics to drive performance and safety in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in field service or manufacturing operations for automation equipment.
• 3+ years managing distributed technician teams.
• Customer-facing presence; can handle a plant manager escalation in person.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 4 Arm Lead, TC (2/1 Arm) Lead, and UP Specialized Lead; set staffing, rotations, and travel across customer sites.
• Own on-floor troubleshooting standards: basic hardware swaps, software swaps, and escalation to Mission Control or Engineering.
• Staff cells directly when contracted, especially 4-arm and tank-like cells.
• Hire, onboard, and certify Fleet Techs; define the skills ladder from Fleet Tech to Lead.
• Partner with CSMs on each account's floor reality and with the Fleet Maintenance Manager on PM and safety.
• Report floor metrics (uptime, response time, repeat issues) into Performance Transparency.
