Job summary

Path Robotics in Columbus, OH is seeking a Platform-focused Software Engineer to bridge software development and fleet orchestration for our robot deployments. You will build scalable configuration management, automate AWS-based deployments, and enhance observability and security across on-premise and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with product engineers to ensure the platform meets the needs of the robotic fleet and the applications that interface with it, while advancing OTA updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 2+ years in production support, development, and DevOps.
• Strong in platform engineering and cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with multi-account AWS deployments.
• Interest in robotics tooling like Foxglove.
• Security-minded with AuthN/AuthZ experience.

Responsibilities

• Platform development to scale configuration management for robotic fleet.
• Automate enterprise-scale AWS account management and deployments.
• Design and maintain OTA software deployment systems for updates across robotic assets.
• Migrate and manage enterprise AuthN/AuthZ for apps.
• Enhance observability tooling to improve robot-to-cloud integration.
• Develop automated incident reporting and escalation tooling.
• Collaborate with product engineers to meet fleet and application needs.
