Job summary

Modernizing Medicine, Inc. is looking for an experienced Enterprise RCM Client Manager to oversee RCM operations for enterprise medical practices. You will serve as a vital link between clients and the organization's internal teams to ensure optimal financial performance and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of RCM experience managing revenue cycle for large practices (15+ providers).
  • Proficient in developing and presenting revenue cycle KPIs and reports.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing processes and various insurance carriers.

Job Description Summary

ModMed is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise RCM Client Manager (internally referred to as an "Enterprise RCM Client Advisor") to join our team. In this client‑facing role, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on the RCM operations for our enterprise‑sized medical practice clients. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our internal RCM operations team and global partners to ensure the achievement of our clients' RCM key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals. You’ll work closely with client(s) to understand their financial, business, reporting and performance needs, and to best serve their business objectives.

Your Role
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise‑sized medical practice client(s) and develop strong client relationships to understand their unique RCM needs and challenges.
  • Conduct routine client meetings to review business metrics, progress, recommendations, and other proactive topics to ensure high‑quality delivery of contracted services.
  • Provide a high level of value and customer service to our enterprise client practices, identifying and efficiently working with RCM operations and the client to resolve insurance and other billing‑related issues.
  • Manage and monitor the end‑to‑end RCM process for assigned clients and track RCM KPIs for clients, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and SLAs.
  • Collaborate with internal RCM operations and the global team to improve client metrics and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization, and collaborate with operational functions on aggressive strategies to facilitate positive client outcomes related to the revenue cycle.
  • Establish, implement, and manage Practice Performance Plans that identify, quantify, and resolve issues impacting service levels and/or delivery of contractual obligations, as needed.
  • Review and analyze customer accounts, identify trends and issues, recommend and implement solutions, and see through to a successful resolution.
  • Participate in sales calls as needed to demonstrate depth of domain expertise.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on processes and workflows related to the RCM Advisor role and maintain knowledge on current healthcare industry and specialty‑related changes.
  • Keep abreast of ModMed software enhancements and releases.
  • Perform additional projects and job duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; medical billing and coding certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in a client or practice‑facing role, managing the revenue cycle management performance for large medical practices (15+ providers) required.
  • 3+ years of related physician billing/RCM experience with experience developing and presenting revenue cycle management KPIs and month‑end reports, preferably to executive leaders.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical billing/coding, physician practice management, and healthcare business processes; strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs.
  • Advanced Excel skills such as the ability to use formulas to analyze data, create tables and pivot tables, and apply conditional formatting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills required.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Professional demeanor required.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
