Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to provide enterprise leadership for our project controls function across a large portfolio of integrated design-build projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients.

This leader will advance digital transformation by modernizing project controls platforms, workflows, reporting, automation, and predictive insights across the enterprise, and will oversee a geographically distributed team of schedulers, cost controllers, and document

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.
Experience with integrated design-build and other alternative delivery models.
Experience leading digital transformation and analytics initiatives across enterprise platforms.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

Define the enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance.
Establish controls for design-build, progressive design-build, CMAR, and other delivery models.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value management, forecasting, variance analysis, and master scheduling.
Develop leading indicators, dashboards, and actionable insights for margin, backlog, and cash flow.
Lead modernization of project controls platforms, data, and workflows including AI-enabled forecasting.
Establish scalable standards for document management and data quality.
Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve client outcomes.
Develop talent and build a high-performing enterprise controls community.
