Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise project controls across a large portfolio for municipal, industrial, and federal clients. This enterprise role will establish governance, systems, analytics, and talent to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

The ideal candidate brings deep AEC leadership in integrated design-build and other delivery models, plus a track record in digital transformation, AI-enabled forecasting, and robust cost/schedule

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
15+ years related experience.
PMP or PgM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards and governance across regions.
Establish controls for design-build and other delivery models; align cost, schedule, risk and commercial controls.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value management, forecasting, variance analysis and scheduling.
Develop leading indicators, dashboards and actionable insights for margin, backlog and delivery risk.
Lead modernization of controls platforms, data workflows and AI-enabled forecasting.
