Job summary

Ares Management LLC is seeking a strategic, hands-on Principal of Pricing to lead enterprise pricing & valuation governance. You will set vision, build tooling, and drive controls spanning daily pricing across loans, bonds, equities, derivatives, and private securities.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will partner across Portfolio Management, Technology, Fund Accounting, Compliance, and audits to scale pricing with the firm’s growth, ensuring transparency, automation, and defensible

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of investment management, valuation, or pricing experience with senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of fixed-income, credit products, illiquid assets preferred.
• Experience with SOX/control testing and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own daily pricing across loans, bonds, equities, derivatives.
• Manage vendor relationships for pricing data and services.
• Collaborate with investment teams to support valuation conclusions.
• Develop pricing rules hierarchy by asset class and source.
• Lead rollout of pricing functionality and vendor solutions.
