Job summary

Ares Management Corporation seeks a strategic, hands-on Principal of Pricing to lead the firm’s pricing and valuation governance. You will own the operating model, build scalable tooling, and ensure SOX alignment across daily pricing of loans, bonds, equities, derivatives and private securities.

This role partners with Portfolio Management, Technology, Fund Accounting and Audit to enable transparent, auditable pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline required.
• MBA, CFA and/or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily pricing across loans, bonds, equities, derivatives and private securities.
• Review pricing data from vendor and internal uploads; investigate variances and pricing history.
• Lead vendor relationships for third‑party market pricing; monitor service quality and coverage.
• Improve pricing rules hierarchy by asset class and source; manage thresholds and escalation criteria.
• Lead implementation of new pricing functionality and system upgrades; drive adoption.
