Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and supporting both customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving platform‑related problems.
Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and coordinating with multiple internal teams to resolve platform-level
Competenze
- 3+ years of enterprise technical support experience.
- Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with enterprise networking concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise customer environments in cloud or IaaS contexts.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in English.
Mansioni
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance regarding Vultr products and services, including complex or escalated issues.
- Act as a first responder to platform-level alerts and incidents, assessing impact and initiating escalation.
- Lead incident analysis, perform root cause investigations, and recommend preventive actions.
- Coordinate with system administration, engineering, networking, and other teams to resolve platform-level problems.
- Create, update, and maintain internal documentation and support procedures.
- Assist in maintaining enterprise customer environments and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Serve as escalation point for Technical Support Specialists and provide guidance on resolution strategies.
