Job summary

Bank of America in Jersey City is seeking an experienced Messaging and Collaboration Engineer to maintain and support the enterprise infrastructure, including Outlook, SharePoint, WebEx, OneDrive and MS Teams across a large multi-site environment.

You will administer user accounts, lead complex issue resolution, coordinate global deployments, ensure security, and provide training. The role requires 3+ years in enterprise IT operations and strong ITIL, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technical operations or enterprise support role
• Proficiency with Outlook and M365 messaging technologies
• Experience with SharePoint administration
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, OneDrive, MS Teams, Skype, WebEx
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and operational best practices
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Strong process documentation and technical writing skills
• Solid understanding of Windows OS, internet browsers, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support enterprise Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure across multi-site environment
• Administer Messaging user accounts, changes, groups, and terminated users per regulatory requirements
• Lead resolution of complex technical issues (SME)
• Consult with developers on application impacts
• Coordinate deployment of worldwide enterprise solutions with testing and documentation
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to management for SLAs and optimization
• Protect messaging security via access controls and certifications
• Provide training to users, junior technicians, and IT staff
