Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Messaging and Collaboration engineer to maintain enterprise email, accrual of security, and onboarding of users across multiple sites. You will support Outlook, SharePoint, WebEx, and Teams ecosystems while collaborating with developers and IT teams.

The role requires a strong ITIL background, on-call availability, and the ability to document processes and configurations for enterprise-wide deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical operations or enterprise support role.
• Proficiency with Outlook and M365 messaging technologies.
• Experience with SharePoint administration.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, OneDrive, MS Teams, Skype, WebEx.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and operational best practices.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Understanding of Windows OS, browsers, and Microsoft Office.
• Basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Administers messaging and collaboration user accounts and permissions.
• Leads resolution of complex technical issues (SME).
• Consults with developers on application impacts.
• Coordinates deployment of enterprise solutions worldwide, including testing and documentation.
• Provides technical guidance to IT groups and suggests service improvements.
• Protects security of the messaging environment via access controls and certs.
• Delivers training to users and junior staff.
