Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a senior Manager to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing and Packaging Engineering across Syracuse, NY; Grayling, MI; West Lafayette, IN; Orlando, FL; Cranston, RI; Bristol, RI; and satellite sites.

The role builds a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials and Packaging Engineering and drives governance, KPIs, and cross-site initiatives. The position requires strategic and hands-on leadership, capability development, and collaboration across cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field with 12+ years experience, or a Master's with 10+ years.
• Demonstrated leadership in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations and standardizing processes across locations.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control with domestic/international logistics.
• Proven transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.
• Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel ~20% annually to Saab locations across the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering operations.
• Standardize governance, standards, KPIs, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific production and customer needs.
• Develop and execute enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
• Drive cross-site initiatives to improve performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk.
• Collaborate across Programs, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, IT, and Finance.
