Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager of Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Syracuse, NY; Grayling, MI; West Lafayette, IN; Orlando, FL; Cranston, RI; Bristol, RI; CROW sites and satellite warehouses.

The role is a senior leadership position focused on establishing a single enterprise-wide operating model with emphasis on People, Process, and Technology, coordinating strategy-to-execution across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of experience, or Master's with 10+ years.
• Leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
• Proven success in organizational transformation and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel ~20% annually across Saab locations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish governance, KPIs, roles, and accountability across Saab locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific requirements.
• Lead cross-site initiatives to improve performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
• Build leaders and organizational capability across locations.
• Collaborate with Programs, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, IT, and other functions.
