Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a senior Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Syracuse, NY; Grayling, MI; West Lafayette, IN; Orlando, FL; Cranston, RI; Bristol, RI; CROW sites and satellite warehouses.

This senior leadership role requires building a standardized enterprise operating model and driving People, Process, and Technology alignment across Saab, Inc. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field; 12+ years relevant experience
• Leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment
• Experience leading multi-site operations and standardizing processes across locations
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience
• Ability to travel approximately 20% annually
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish common governance, operating standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific production, program, and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute the enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
• Lead cross-site initiatives focused on operational performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
