Job summary

Saab AB, headquartered in Syracuse, New York, seeks an experienced Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Saab locations.

The role is a senior leadership position focused on building a standardized, enterprise-wide operating model and developing site leaders while driving cross-site initiatives, governance, and continuous improvement across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across multiple locations or business units.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with working knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish governance, operating standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific production, program, and customer requirements.
• Develop enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
• Lead cross-site initiatives focused on operational performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
