Saab, Inc. in the United States seeks a senior Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Syracuse, NY and other locations. The role builds an enterprise operating model and standardizes governance across Saab sites.

The position requires leadership across multiple sites, 20% travel, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance, with a focus on people, process, and technology improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline; 12+ years of experience or Master's with 10+ years.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across locations.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with working knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
• Proven track record in transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.
• Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance management capabilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% annually to Saab locations across the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish governance, operating standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific requirements.
• Develop and execute enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
• Lead cross-site initiatives focused on performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
