Job summary

Saab AB, headquartered in Syracuse, NY, is seeking a senior leader to drive a unified Materials Operations strategy across multiple U.S. sites, warehouses, and satellite locations.

The role centers on standardizing processes, governance, and performance metrics for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering. You will lead enterprise initiatives, build leadership capability, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives while managing complexity across sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across locations.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control with knowledge of domestic and international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish common governance, operating standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific production, program, and customer requirements.
• Develop enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site leaders across locations.
• Lead cross-site initiatives focused on performance, scalability, and cost reduction.
