Job summary

Saab AB seeks a seasoned Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Syracuse, NY and multiple Saab sites in the United States. The role focuses on establishing a standardized enterprise operating model and building leadership capability, governance, and performance across locations.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in supply chain leadership (or 10+ with a Master’s), strong cross-functional experience, and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% annually to Saab locations across the United States.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish governance, standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities across Saab locations.
• Lead cross-site initiatives to improve operational performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk.
• Standardize SOPs, material flow processes, controls, KPIs, operating cadence, and continuous improvement practices.
• Drive packaging and material handling excellence aligned with enterprise strategy.
