Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Saab locations in the United States.

The role focuses on establishing a standardized, enterprise-wide operating model for Materials and Packaging, driving governance, and delivering cross-site improvements while preparing for broader Director-level responsibilities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in a complex manufacturing, aerospace/defense, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations and enterprise-wide standardization across locations.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with domestic and international logistics.
• Proven success in organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.
• Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance-management capabilities.
• Ability to travel ~20% annually to Saab locations across the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across Saab locations.
• Establish governance, standards, KPIs, roles, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance standardization with site-specific production and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
• Lead cross-site initiatives focused on performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
