Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks an experienced Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across multiple U.S. sites and future Saab locations.

The role focuses on establishing a standardized enterprise operating model and building leadership across functions. The candidate will move between strategy and execution, drive continuous improvement, and may assume broader Director-level responsibilities as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or Master's with 10+ years.
• Demonstrated leadership in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations and standardizing processes across locations or business units.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control with knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
• Proven track record in organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.
• Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance management capabilities.
• Ability to travel ~20% annually to Saab, Inc. locations in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish governance, standards, KPIs, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific requirements.
• Lead cross-site initiatives to improve performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
• Partner with Programs, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Security.
