Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10 years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of IT staff management experience.
• Strong communication to explain technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and open-source IT hardware, software, and services.
• Proven ability to manage matrixed teams and drive collaboration.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Long-term planning and ability to apply new tech to improve services.
• Current security clearance and DoD 8140/Security+ compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT-related activities across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud services, and security.
• Ensure continuity of computer, network, and application services through leadership and planning.
• Align IT services with business processes and customer requirements.
• Perform technical analysis, design reviews, and budget planning.
• Forecast costs and coordinate budgets and resource needs for IT projects.
• Recommend hardware/software upgrades for IT assets.
• Develop policies, standards, and procedures to strengthen service delivery.
• Audit systems, ensure data security, and maintain recovery readiness.
• Identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement strategic improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and manage assigned staff including performance reviews.
