Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to support a large DoW customer. You will oversee IT System Administrators, coordinate outages, and work with Engineering and Cyber Security to resolve complex issues.

The role requires DoD IT standards knowledge, RMF/ITSM familiarity, and DoD 8570 compliance. US citizenship and TS/SCI with poly are required. A senior degree and extensive experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience briefing military/government leadership.
• Knowledge of IC IT standards and best practices.
• DoDM 8140.03 compliant IT cert or higher (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC…).
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; master’s with 10+; associate’s 14+; HS diploma 16+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work effort of a diverse IT System Administrators team.
• Coordinate response to service outages and track recovery.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Cyber Security to resolve issues.
• Develop policies to ensure staff follow standardized procedures.
• Manage infrastructure projects and oversee transitions between design and O&M.
• Monitor system availability and analyze incidents, report KPIs.
• Develop KPIs to demonstrate value to the customer.
• Review O&M documentation and ensure use of checklists and references.
• Oversee training plans and track completion of required training.
