Job summary

Leidos seeks a Cyber Infrastructure Support Lead to manage Windows and Linux environments, drive security compliance, and coordinate cross‑functional IT delivery. The role demands hands-on technical leadership, mentoring of engineers, and active participation in security audits within a governed, high‑security setting.

Based in the California, MD office, you will oversee system reliability, performance, and security, while aligning with RMF/NIST standards and DoD security guidance.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold an Active TOP SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years related experience in Information Systems or related field, or a master's with 6-10 years of related experience.
• Detailed understanding of RMF, NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
• Hold DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (SCAP, ACAS).
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN in a classified environment and crypto management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting.
• Collaborate with IA, engineering, and operations teams to deliver IT services.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to information system, network, and security events.
• Develop procedures to ensure CM and security policy compliance.
• Lead security IS education and training and mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in audit activities and Risk Assessments.
