Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to own enterprise infrastructure design, reliability, and service delivery across multi-site operations in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electrification, energy, medical, and robotics. You will lead the infrastructure team, drive projects, and ensure standards and effective service management.

The role partners with IT planning, budgeting, vendor management, and compliance, balancing operational needs with long-term architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 7+ years designing, building, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.
• 5+ years leading and managing infrastructure teams.
• Strong hands-on balance of operational needs with architecture.
• Experience with cybersecurity practices and compliance frameworks (CMMC, GCC High, AWS GovCloud, or FedRAMP).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management concepts.
• Experience with technical documentation including architecture documents, policies, runbooks, procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across IT, business teams, and external vendors.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the infrastructure team.
• Set team priorities, manage performance, and build a service-focused culture.
• Oversee infrastructure operations, processes, escalations, and service delivery.
• Lead incident response and post-incident improvements.
• Design and approve infrastructure architecture to support growth.
• Drive projects from design to implementation and support.
• Establish standards, metrics, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Improve systems and end-user experience through data and feedback.
• Support IT planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and compliance.
