Job summary

Motive Workforce is partnering with a growing advanced manufacturing organization to hire an IT Infrastructure Manager. This leader will own enterprise infrastructure design, reliability, and service delivery while managing the infrastructure team.

The role supports multi-site operations across advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electrification, energy, medical, and robotics, with a focus on cloud, security, and compliant IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years enterprise infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years leading infrastructure teams.
• Experience with multi-cloud and security frameworks (CMMC, GCC High, AWS GovCloud, or FedRAMP)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management concepts.
• Experience with technical documentation, including architecture documents, policies, runbooks, and procedures.

Motive Workforce is partnering with a growing advanced manufacturing organization to hire an IT Infrastructure Manager.

This leader will own enterprise infrastructure design, reliability, and service delivery while managing and developing the infrastructure team. The role supports a multi-site organization operating across advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electrification, energy, medical, and robotics.

What You'll Lead

• Lead, coach, and develop the infrastructure team
• Set team priorities, manage performance, support development, and build a service-focused culture
• Oversee infrastructure operations, processes, escalations, and service delivery
• Lead critical incident response and post-incident improvements
• Design and approve infrastructure architecture that supports business growth
• Drive infrastructure projects from design and testing through implementation and support
• Establish and maintain standards, metrics, SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation
• Improve systems, processes, and end-user experience through data and feedback
• Support IT planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and compliance requirements

• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, identity services, certificates, file/print, storage, backup, and recovery
• Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Defender, MFA, and endpoint management
• Windows, Macs, peripherals, printers, and device lifecycle management
• Firewalls, switches, routers, access points, cabling, and Fortinet platforms
• Multi-cloud, multi-domain, multi-forest, and multi-tenant environments
• Data center operations, monitoring, automated remediation, patching, and asset lifecycle management.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years designing, building, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure
• 5+ years leading and managing infrastructure teams
• Strong hands-on experience balancing operational needs with long-term infrastructure architecture
• Experience with cybersecurity practices and compliance frameworks, including CMMC, GCC High, AWS GovCloud, or FedRAMP
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management concepts
• Experience with technical documentation, including architecture documents, policies, runbooks, and procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across IT, business teams, and external vendors
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to practical business needs

Preferred Background

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments and OT networks
• Familiarity with CAD environments
• Current IT industry certifications
• Experience using AI tools to improve IT operations

Compensation:

$100,000 - $171,000 base salary, plus incentive eligibility, employee ownership, and comprehensive benefits

Pay Range based on Location:

Denver, CO area $113,000–$169,000

New Kensington, PA $103,000–$154,000

Charlotte, NC area, Rock Hill, SC $100,000–$149,000

This role may be based in Commerce City, CO; New Kensington, PA; Rock Hill, SC; Wilmington, MA; or Rochester, NY. Compensation varies by location, from $100,000 to $171,000 depending on role and worksite.
