Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Duke Energy internship or co-op experience.
• 1–2 years of computer skills, including general usage and support.
• Ability to thoroughly document work processes and adhere to processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, conflict management, approachability, and negotiation.
• Ability to prioritize activities and focus team efforts based on priority.
• Ability to research independently, multitask, and meet deadlines under tight timeframes.
• Ability to build working relationships across different organizational levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a work-plan-driven team environment.
• Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level support for infrastructure and business application technologies, including workstations, servers, storage, mobile devices, and software.
• Integrate software to enable usage, support, and monitoring of hardware technologies.
• Develop and maintain routine work procedures.
• Define standard installation and upgrade methodologies.
• Evaluate, acquire, install, and integrate technology components.
• Perform integration testing, component upgrades, and performance monitoring.
