Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Sr. Enterprise IT Change Specialist to support SOUTHCOM from Doral, FL.

This onsite role requires leading enterprise-wide change management, guiding ITIL-aligned processes, and coordinating between technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership. You will drive strategic direction of the Change Management Program, mentor staff, and ensure compliant, low-risk changes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of high school education plus commensurate experience in IT/change management
• Secret clearance required
• 13+ years total IT experience primarily in change management
• 5+ years in IT service management with focus on change management
• Strong ITIL 4 knowledge and enterprise change management tool experience

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in planning assessment authorization and implementation oversight of enterprise changes
• Lead the Change Management Program aligning with ITIL best practices and minimizing risk
• Chair and mentor CAB meetings and oversee high-risk changes
• Develop and refine change policies procedures and tooling
• Conduct risk assessments and design rollback strategies using data-driven insights
• Coordinate with technical teams business stakeholders and leadership across the change lifecycle
• Integrate change with ITSM DevOps Agile and cloud infrastructure
• Mentor junior staff and drive automation of change processes
