Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Configuration / Change Management Specialist to manage configuration and change operations within hybrid VPC and global network infrastructure for a DoS program. The role requires ITIL-aligned governance, precise documentation, and coordination with ECB for change approval.

The candidate should have 5+ years of IT experience, ITIL 4 Foundation, and a Secret security clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required as part of field deployments and audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience required.
• Bachelor's in IT or related field required.
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification preferred; security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of configuration items and coordinate with incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Use automated discovery methods to reconcile updates with baselines.
• Record and monitor CIs, settings, and changes; maintain models of services and topology.
• Apply automated master data management to reconcile updates and discovery results.
• Develop and update baseline documentation, SOPs, and best practices for C/CM activities.
• Manage end-to-end change management, prepare and present change requests to ECB.
• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with C/CM plans and standards.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and provide regular C/CM reporting.
