Job summary

Medicom seeks an Implementation Specialist to own the technical delivery of Connect and ImageX across multiple new customers. You will install, configure, and optimize interfaces (DICOM/HL7/FHIR), guiding clients through testing, go-live, and network connectivity.

The role manages 20–25 active projects monthly and supports 30–40 installs and training sessions. You will collaborate with PM, Support, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure productions are delivered with HIPAA-compliant

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare IT experience with hands-on responsibility for PACS, VNA, RIS, EHR, or related imaging systems.
• 2+ years of production experience configuring and troubleshooting DICOM and HL7 v2 interfaces.
• Strong Windows Server and network troubleshooting skills (ports, firewalls, VPNs, certificates, DNS).
• Experience leading multiple customer engagements with clear documentation and follow‑through.
• Willingness to support early-morning or occasional overnight go-lives during cutovers.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and migrate ImageX across Windows Server and virtual environments.
• Configure Connect including spaces, permissions, AE titles, routing rules, and site-to-site connections.
• Build and troubleshoot HL7 v2, FHIR, SMART on FHIR integrations with EHR teams.
• Diagnose DICOM, HL7, and Windows infrastructure issues using logs and tools.
• Lead technical kickoffs and training sessions with PACS admins, IT security, and other stakeholders.
• Develop test plans, track acceptance criteria, and support user acceptance testing.
