Job summary

Express Logistics, a Des Moines, IA based 3PL broker, is hiring an Enterprise Sales Rep to grow new shipper partnerships across TL/LTL and specialized freight. You will build pipelines via cold outreach, referrals and events, conduct discovery, and present pricing and RFP responses. Travel to Des Moines and client sites as needed.

You will drive long-term partnerships by negotiating terms, protecting margins, and handing off accounts to Account Managers for expansion and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, carrier or transportation sales.
• Experience across both spot and contract pricing.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and win new enterprise and midmarket shipper accounts across TL, LTL and freight.
• Build a pipeline through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals and events.
• Run discovery to understand lanes, volume, pain points and procurement.
• Prepare and present pricing, proposals and RFP responses.
• Negotiate rates and contract terms to protect margin.
• Handoff new accounts to Account Managers and grow share of wallet.
