Job summary

Planned is the AI Event Intelligence Platform. We own end-to-end delivery of complex corporate events for enterprise clients, setting the standard for event execution. You will operate with minimal oversight, translating briefs into scoped plans and budgets while protecting client experience and Planned's margins.

You will lead high‑impact events, negotiate with venues, and work with product to improve playbooks and templates for the wider team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing corporate or enterprise events end‑to‑end.
• Proven venue and vendor negotiation experience.
• Experience reviewing contracts and negotiating terms.
• Strong commercial judgment balancing client experience and margins.
• Ability to organize under heavy load and manage complex events.

Responsibilities

• Own a high volume of client events from intake through post‑event reconciliation, acting as a senior industry expert.
• Translate ambiguous briefs into clear scopes, budgets, and defensible venue and vendor recommendations.
• Source and negotiate with venues and suppliers, covering room blocks, F&B minimums, attrition, cancellation clauses, AV, and BEOs.
• Anticipate and resolve risk before it reaches the client, addressing changes and headcount fluctuations.
• Serve as a bridge between client experience and product, surfacing friction patterns to Product and Engineering.
