Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Oakwood is seeking a Corporate Manager of Ergonomics to lead the enterprise ergonomics strategy across poultry processing, prepared foods, hatchery, feed mill, distribution and support ops; partner with operations, health, engineering, safety to deliver sustainable ergonomic solutions.

The role conducts risk assessments, advances MSD prevention, builds training, develops dashboards, and champions engineering controls while traveling 50–70% to facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ergonomics, occupational health, industrial engineering, safety, kinesiology or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) or Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or related credential preferred.
• Experience implementing ergonomics or MSD-reduction programs across multiple facilities.
• Ability to travel 50–70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise ergonomics strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend engineering controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and introduce best practices.
• Develop analytics and dashboards to track MSD trends.
• Provide training and capability building across facilities.
