Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Complex Health & Safety Manager to develop, promote and oversee the site’s health and safety programs across the plant, feed mill and hatchery. You will lead regulatory compliance, guide leadership through policy interpretation, and drive continuous improvement in EH&S to foster a safe workplace and strong safety culture.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field and several years of management experience, with a focus on regulatory

Formación

• Five years of safety management experience in manufacturing, preferably food.
• Experience managing direct reports and guiding teams.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Safety Professional certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee health and safety programs at the complex.
• Develop and maintain accident/injury-free workplace systems.
• Lead annual Safety and Health Plan with budgets.
• Audit regulatory compliance and report to authorities.
• Provide policy interpretation to leaders.
• Manage permits and reporting to agencies.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Participate in safety reviews for equipment and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in EH&S systems.
• Mentor and train employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
