Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks an experienced Complex Health & Safety Manager to lead health and safety programs across a poultry processing complex including plant, feed mill, and hatchery. You will interpret policies and regulations to ensure OSHA, DOT, and state/federal compliance for the site.

The role requires strong leadership, incident investigation skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvements in safety performance, training, and regulatory reporting across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or Health Management, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline.
• Five+ years of relevant safety management/compliance experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience managing direct reports and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee health and employee safety programs across the complex.
• Lead the site's Health & Safety Plan and budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state/federal laws.
• Conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor and train staff; drive continuous safety improvements.
