Job summary

Systems Implementers Inc. in Utah is seeking a Documentation Specialist to create, maintain, and improve user guides for enterprise systems and reporting apps at Hill AFB. You will translate technical details into clear documentation and collaborate with developers, SMEs, and stakeholders.

Hybrid role with on-site time at Hill AFB. A detail-oriented communicator with 4+ years of tech writing experience and strong Microsoft Office skills is required; a bachelor’s degree or CPTC/MOS certifications

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience creating technical documentation, user guides, or process documentation in a business or technology environment.
• High school diploma required; U.S. Citizen.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills.
• Hybrid work arrangement; ability to work on-site at Hill Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications, test documentation, and learn new system functionalities to write user guides.
• Synchronize documentation updates with bi-monthly software releases.
• Audit and modernize legacy guides to improve clarity and usability.
• Collaborate with developers and SMEs to author documentation for new systems and reports.
• Own creation and maintenance of guides for enterprise MRO system and reporting apps.
• Maintain templates and version control for consistency across materials.
• Organize documentation for easy access and navigation.
• Perform additional duties to support team success.
