Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead the most complex customer engagements and drive adoption of the Databricks Data + AI Platform. You will influence executive stakeholders, own technical strategy, and mentor regional teams.

You will partner across cross-functional teams to architect real-time data and AI solutions, with a focus on enterprise-scale migrations, platform governance, and data strategy, while consistently delivering business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Expert-level coding proficiency—Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark; live coding assessment and a platform build during interview.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems at scale, streaming/real-time, lakehouse design patterns, data governance, cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for the organization's most complex customer engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue growth.
• Own senior-level technical relationships—serving as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead the most complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior SAs on technical depth, customer engagement, and use case prioritization.
