Job summary

Cengage Group seeks an accomplished enterprise sales professional to own new business in a large territory, targeting organizations with 2,000+ employees. You will develop penetration strategies, build a robust pipeline, and engage senior IT leaders to drive multi-stakeholder deals.

This role offers a base pay range of $40.00 - $48.00 USD per hour plus a substantial annual incentive, aligned with a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, focusing on new business or developing opportunities.
• Experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions preferred.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior executives (CISO, CIO, CTO).
• Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and multi-opportunity management.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of new business acquisition within enterprise territory, focusing on large, strategic accounts (2,000+ employees).
• Develop and execute account penetration strategies to break into net-new organizations.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting (cold outreach, executive engagement, networking, events).
• Engage key collaborators, including CISO, CIO, and CTO.
• Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from engagement to close.
• Position value of InfoSec solutions in risk, compliance, and resilience context.
• Drive deal strategy, including pricing and negotiations per guidelines.
• Maintain pipeline management and forecasting with clear deal progression insights.
