Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Sales Engineer for Cybersecurity Enterprise Accounts in Germany. You will partner with Account Managers to translate security needs into Proofpoint solutions, delivering product demonstrations, threat assessments, and evaluations for customers across Germany.

You will build trusted relationships with large enterprise clients, lead pre-sales engagements, and stay current on Proofpoint’s portfolio, including email security, DLP, and cloud security, while communicating in

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in a customer facing role, e.g. Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager or security engineer.
• Experience with enterprise email solutions (Exchange, G-Suite, O365) or SMTP familiarity.
• Ability to develop and deliver security solutions tailored to large enterprise accounts.
• English fluency with local German language capability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Sales Lead during the pre-sales process.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted account penetration strategies.
• Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions across Proofpoint portfolio.
• Present at industry events and customer meetings as required.
