Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting an enterprise-wide Compliance Management System or second-line program within a regulated financial institution.
• Ability to challenge senior business owners across lending, deposits, payments, marketing, digital, operations, and Member channels.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and assess Southland’s enterprise Compliance Management System as part of a second-line function.
• Develop and execute risk-based compliance reviews independent of first-line QC activities; document findings and remediation.
• Identify applicable regulatory changes and assess impact, with accountable owners and governance oversight.
• Provide second-line oversight for complaint processes, Fair Lending, UDAAP, and regulatory risk areas; avoid routine handling.
• Prepare concise reporting for management committees, Senior Leadership, and the Board.
