Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to identify and mitigate regulatory risks, evaluate controls, and lead compliance initiatives across the organization.

You will develop and manage compliance programs, supervise junior staff, prepare reports for management, and ensure all products and processes meet applicable laws. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, and processes related to financial institutions.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to oversee work processes and provide guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze regulatory changes affecting financial institutions and determine applicability.
• Research regulatory questions for other departments and present findings to management.
• Develop and manage compliance programs and training.
• Oversee activities of Compliance Analyst(s) and manage projects implementing regulatory changes.
• Prepare revisions to disclosures and write reports for Compliance management.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure products, services, and processes comply with laws.
