Job summary

Neighbors Credit Union is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Risk to lead the Credit Union’s enterprise risk management, fraud risk management, and business continuity programs. This role collaborates with department leaders to identify risks, coordinates responses to fraud and disruptions, and provides leadership and Board-level information to support risk decisions.

The position requires 5–8 years in risk-related roles, with preference for credit union or banking experience.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of related experience in risk management.
• Experience leading risk programs or significant initiatives across departments.
• Credit union or banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain enterprise risk management program and reporting.
• Facilitate risk assessments with department leaders and establish action plans.
• Develop risk appetite, tolerances, and escalation practices.
• Develop and monitor key risk indicators and communicate trends.
• Evaluate risks from new products, services, and changes.
• Strengthen controls and monitor risk mitigation activities.
• Incorporate compliance reviews, vendor assessments, audits and examinations into risk assessment.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for executive leadership and Board.
• Educate employees on identifying, reporting, and managing risk.
