Job summary

Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union seeks a Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management to lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across the organization. You will partner with senior management, business units, and regulators to build and maintain robust risk frameworks and governance.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of credit risk, regulatory expectations, and risk analytics to align risk posture with strategic objectives and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years of job-related experience, or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of job-related management experience.
• Financial institution knowledge required.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, credit underwriting, portfolio management, and credit analytics.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory safety and soundness principles for financial institutions larger than $10 billion in assets including governance, credit risk, model risk, new products and capital planning.
• FRM, CRM or CERP designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy to mature the enterprise risk management program.
• Coordinate processes to identify, assess, and prioritize risks.
• Prepare and present risk reports to senior leadership and the Board.
• Manage risk-related matters during NCUA exams (with CRO).
• Monitor industry trends and emerging risks for ERM updates.
• Maintain the risk appetite framework within defined limits.
• Build relationships with leaders across the credit union to ensure cohesive risk practices.
• Serve as liaison for risk committees and training initiatives.
• Oversee risk governance, third party, model, operational, credit, and financial risk management.
• Mentor and develop direct reports.
