Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive regulatory compliance and risk management experience in banking.
• 7+ years in a senior compliance leadership role.
• Experience working with federal/state banking regulators.
• Experience with mutual bank governance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Compliance Management System (CMS).
• Develop compliance strategy, policies, procedures, governance structures, and risk assessment methods.
• Monitor regulatory developments with Legal and implement changes.
• Provide board and executive reporting on compliance matters.
• Oversee third-party risk and product governance.
• Chair the Compliance Committee and drive training programs.
• Manage remediation of regulatory findings and commitments.
• Cultivate a strong culture of compliance across the organization.
