Job summary

Esri is seeking an Enterprise Business Intelligence Intern in Redlands, CA. You will work with experienced professionals to build analytics and reporting solutions that inform real business decisions.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI while learning the end-to-end lifecycle from stakeholder needs to production dashboards.

Enterprise Business Intelligence Internship

Turn data into insight that helps teams make better decisions.

As an Enterprise Business Intelligence Intern at Esri, you will work alongside experienced professionals to build analytics and reporting solutions that support real business decisions. You will gain hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI while learning how teams move from stakeholder needs and project scope to validated, production-ready dashboards.

What You’ll Experience

• Understand stakeholder needs, project goals, and scope.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.

• Design potential solutions through mock-ups and prototypes.

• Collaborate with data teams to identify gaps and document data needs.

• Validate results using quality assurance methods.

• Deliver dashboards and reporting solutions that are ready for production use.

Real Projects You May Work On

• Create a dashboard or reporting solution that turns business data into clear, actionable insight.

• Develop mock-ups or prototypes to help stakeholders evaluate a proposed information solution.

• Perform a data gap analysis and document requirements for a reporting or analytics project.

• Test dashboard results, investigate discrepancies, and help improve data quality and usability.

We’re Excited to Meet Students Who

• Are currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program at a university in the United States studying Business Management and Operations, Finance, or Mathematics graduating in 2027 or 2028.

• For undergraduate students, are in junior or senior standing.

• Have knowledge of at least one application or system such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SAP, Oracle, or another ERP system.

• Are curious, collaborative, detail-oriented, and interested in learning through real work.

• Can complete a consecutive, onsite 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2027 in Redlands, California.

• Are authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this internship takes into account education level and previous relevant work experience, including specialized skill sets. Interns who meet minimum qualifications during their internship may also qualify for 401(k) and profit share. A reasonable estimate of the base pay range is $26.00-$30.00 per hour.
